The 2000's was certainly a special time for jump up drum & bass with many new faces, fresh ideas and game changing tracks.
Gone were the days of a handful of big artists recycling their tried and tested formula and in it's place, young and hungry producers would come to change the face of silly basslines for a considerable time to come.
Granted the old guard would still produce some absolute anthems as demonstrated below, however, the evolution of drum & bass was now well underway.
